The Hidden Cost of In-House Credentialing
Your practice may be losing revenue right now.

Staff Hours Wasted

Clinical staff consumed writing applications, navigating payer portals, and waiting on hold.

Claims Denied or Under-Paid

Enrollment errors cause claims to be paid at non-par rates or written off entirely.

Revenue Delayed 60–90 Days

New providers wait months for payer approval while generating zero reimbursement.

Compliance Exposure

Missed re-credentialing deadlines and CAQH lapses create serious regulatory risk.

No Systematic Tracking

Expiring licenses across a growing roster have no reliable way to be monitored in-house.

Our Approach

Compensation is based on the number of applications per TAX ID. Each package includes all 3 phases (Credentialing & Enrollment, Contract Analysis, and Maintenance/PDU) for the initial 12 months.

What counts as an Application? An Application is any enrollment, credentialing, participation, revalidation, re-enrollment, or privileging submission required by a payer, government agency, or healthcare facility. Each payer × each provider × each group entity × each facility = a separate application. Ownership structure does not reduce the count.

Common Questions
Answers to what you're thinking.

Addressing the most common concerns practices have before making the switch.

"We manage credentialing in-house."
Most of our clients were in the same position. Ask yourself: how much staff time goes into credentialing monthly? Are you confident every provider and location is correctly enrolled at the right reimbursement rate? Most practices discover they're writing off revenue they didn't know they were losing.
"We already have a credentialing software tool."
Software is a tracking tool. PractiCons is a credentialing service. Most platforms still require your staff to complete applications and follow up with payers. With PractiCons, we handle the entire process. You get both the technology and an experienced credentialing team.
"Outsourcing sounds expensive."
Consider the real cost: staff salaries allocated to credentialing tasks, claims written off due to enrollment errors, and revenue delayed 60–90 days while providers await approval. PractiCons typically recovers more through corrected enrollments and faster approvals than the service itself costs.
"How do we know the work will be accurate?"
You review completed applications before paying a single dollar. Our pay-after-completion model means we do the work first, you review and approve, then payment is made. This reflects our commitment to quality and our confidence in our team's expertise.
"We're a small practice — is this right for us?"
Small practices often benefit the most. Many can't justify a full-time credentialing specialist, yet the financial consequences of errors are just as serious. PractiCons gives solo physicians and small practices the same expert-level management that large health systems trust.
"We're opening a new practice — do we need this from the start?"
Absolutely. Credentialing delays during launch can result in zero reimbursements during your most critical revenue-building months. PractiCons specializes in helping new practices become fully credentialed and billing-ready from day one.
